23 February 2024 — Gobbling peanuts (and sunflower seeds)
Grabbing the last of the suet – a big mouthful.

I would have to split these sunflower seeds open with a hammer; it’s amazing how strong their beaks are.

Behind the feeder is a nest box, used every night during the winter as a sleeping place by a downy woodpecker.
